I spent the weekend in Asheville, NC, chalking at Bele Chere – Thank you Diane Ruggerio for the opportunity and for making it enjoyable! It was hot but really fun. The first day it rained and sprinkled on me. I completed chalking 1/2 of the sky in the drizzle. I worried that the non-drizzle parts would look different, but I found a nice technique and it looked pretty much the same when done. My hands are very smooth now. I developed a lot here and I found a new weak spot in my technique, which will be very shortly corrected ;-). I like how the weekend went. I REALLY enjoyed Asheville and hope to return very soon with my husband and kids and our mountain bikes. I would also like to return to Bele Chere next year as an artist, exhibitor or just a plain arts and music lover :-). Very nice, hot weekend with art. Ahhhhhhhhhh :-)
And It was a perfect weekend, because Jimmie won at Indy on the way home :-).
