I am happy that I am consumed in things to accomplish. I have a couple of commissions, some research, lessons and judging to do, and a solo show to complete for March. I hope my skills in time management improve! I am really working on using to do lists. I keep moving forward :-).
In March I will be presenting my solo Tipping Paint Gallery Show, “What’s the Story” beginning February 1st. With the understanding that “every picture tells a story”, I have created work that uses narrative to engage a conversation with the viewer. The work is sometimes inspired by lyric and poem, always offered as a puzzle for discussion, and never meant to be understood in only one unchanging way. The hope is that each piece leaves the viewer with a story that sparks conversation and that viewers will leave their impressions and stories at the gallery.
This completed work is for the show entitled “Neither Out Far, Nor In Deep“ after Robert Frost’s poem.
